Airpods lost, last known location was two days ago, have they been reset or am I just not in range?

Hello, I misplaced my airpods two days ago. I thought I left them in my car. On Find My app I can see that they were last at my apartment complex two days ago, and I can still see approximately where, however I am not in range to use the sound feature. Since I can still see the last known location, does that mean that they may still be there? Like, if they have been reset would I still be able to see that last known location or would it appear to be offline? Just trying to figure out if I should spend more time looking for them at my apartment or if they have been stolen.

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected.

Good luck.
