Hi sdfromvalencia,
As Bob mentions, the M1 chip only natively supports a total of two monitors. Your built-in display is one of the two monitors - you can connect one additional monitor with no issue.
If you want to go beyond that, you could try using DisplayLink, which communicates video data to your monitors in a more efficient way than usual.
