Photos transferring from iPhone

Today i was trying to transfer photos from my iPhone XR to my windows 10 laptop. When i opened the dcim file, there was 100 apple,100 icloud, 102 apple and more. how the files (100-apple) is organize? is it arranged according to dates or media types or size??
