T-Mobile wifi calling not working on new iphone 12
Hi guys,
Just changed to an iPhone 12 Pro after being on Samsung Galaxy for years. Last one I had was a Samsung S20 FE and it worked with Tmobile wifi perfectly when I am roaming around the world.
Now that I switched to iphone I see that Tmobile wifi works for a few days or hours then it never shows up again.
I have the settings to use Wifi calling enabled and everything as it should but the phone just keep reverting back to normal sim card use. Its not cool because I am outside of the US most of the time so each minute I talk without the T-mobile wifi option incur in roaming charges that I want to avoid using Tmobile Wifi calling.
I have excellent internet at home so that is not the problem.
I tried putting the cellphone on airplane mode, turning on the wifi and nothing happens, not even there it connects to the Tmobile wifi calling.
I never had that issue with the Samsung phone, didn't think it was going to be an issue with the iphone 12 either but still haven't found a solution to it.
I tried restarting it, turning off the phone sim and back on turning wifi calling off and back on, nothing fixes it.
Any suggestions?
Teo
