Notes disappear

Hello,

I had not understood the relationship of apple id and notes that well. One day I just downloaded apple mail app in a rush and used my iCloud id on that mail app to send an email. That very same hour I lost my major chunk on notes saved on notes app. I am at loss that how could that happen? I only have few notes left in notes app from 2017 and nothing afterwards. I see different folder in notes app some notes saved on the phone itself some on my gmail email is and some on iCloud Id. I don’t know what happen here but my those notes were not deleted and they are not in delete folder.

i need those disappeared notes.

can anyone help me. I am willing to pay for it.

Hi nida293!

It sounds like you're missing notes on your device, and we're happy to help. From what you're describing, you may have notes synced to a Gmail account as well as iCloud in addition to notes saved locally to your device. For future reference, you can determine where the notes are synced by going to Settings > Notes > Default Account.

To see which notes are synced to iCloud, you can check the iCloud website at this link: iCloud

If you determine that the missing notes are not showing in iCloud, the notes may be synced to Gmail. Do you still have the Gmail account added on your device? If not, add it back again and check for the notes: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
