Windows 10 can't detect FaceTime Camera and TouchBar

Product: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017)

System can't detect FaceTime Camera and TouchBar.

In Device Manager, it shows "Currently, this hardware deviceis not connected to the computer. To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer. (Code 45)". So the Windows Camera App cannot detect the Camera and the TouchBar on Windows is shut down.

In driver sheet, FaceTime HD Camera doesn't use the driver provided by Apple.

Tried reset SMC, NVRAM and reinstall the support software but nothing changed.

If remove these devices, Device manager cannot detect them again any more.

All device work perfectly on macOS.

All devices except unconnected devices are shown, there are no unknown/other devices in Windows Device Manager. FaceTime Camera and TouchBar are hidden devices because they not connected to computer, still show error code 45.

Check under each section under Hardware. I will try and find a 2016/2017 MBP. There are two other commands that can be used in Terminal system_profiler (this is similar to the System Report) and ioreg which can provide much more detail.

It would be helpful to see the device tree as I have posted page 1 showing the HID devices. Your screen shots enumerate all system devices. Using the HID devices, we can try to install the DFR driver manually.

It’s probably because Touch Bar doesn’t work with windows. As for camera, my MacBook Air 2020 camera works with Win10

i don’t know why your camera doesn’t work with windows. You could get an external webcam

I extracted it from Windows driver package. Can you find the USB device in Windows Device Manager? If yes, then you should be able to install the driver with Have Disk method by right-clicking on the device.
