When I try to print google doc, it keeps creating pdf files

When I try to print google doc, it keeps creating pdf files. Even if you press the print button or press command + P, the print option does not appear and a pdf is created immediately. I'd appreciate it if you could let me know how I can get the print options to come up so I can print to my physical printer.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.4

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand the doc you are trying to print is turning to a PDF. This looks like it may be expected behavior if you are bringing from Firefox or Safari as stated under “Print a document, spreadsheet, or presentation” from this article:


Print or change page setup - Computer - Docs Editors Help
