Preview: Continuous Scroll Default?
Does anybody know how to set the Default for viewing a PDF in Preview to Continuous Scroll? I really dislike using Single Page or Two Pages.

Yes, switching into full-screen or split-screen will reset view settings. It happens with Mail and column width's etc. When the App goes full screen or split screen the developers have made some opinionated decisions on the default view settings.
There is a keyboard shortcut to switch to Continuous View - ⌘1 so at least you can quickly switch it.
I'd like to add some more specificity to my issue.
This issue seems to only happen when switching into "split-screen". It switches my viewing mode to "single-page" away from my preset preference. I do this often for lectures in school... I have Preview open on one side, and my word processor on the other.
(I do split-screen by holding the green button at the top left of the applications and selecting "Tile Window to ____ of Screen").
Did you try opening Preview with no content loaded then going to the Preferences and the PDF tab and setting the option "Opening for the first time Show as "Continuous Scroll"?
I did just check, and I already have continuous scroll selected
