I tried to change my password and get a "unexpected system error" and it won't let me change the password.

I am concerned my iphone was compromised and wanted to change my apple ID password so I logged in from my PC and it seemed like it would go through but the received 'an unexpected system error' message and the change password key would not illuminate to click. The passwords were typed correctly so no errors between original and confirmation. Not clear what the error is or how to fix it.

We see you linked to the Apple Support Communities from the "Change your Apple ID password" article, but when going through steps to change your password from your PC, you ran into an error.

Have you made another attempt since, or tried from a different web browser?
