CAN'T DELETE ICON FROM HOMESCREEN

Hi, a new icon suddenly appeared on my homescreen which I didn't even bookmark, download nor purchase. Tried deleting it but no X mark appeared. The only options were: Edit home screen or Share bookmark.

Furthermore, the said icon doesn't even appear in the list of bookmarked sites in Safari.

Already tried doing the following but it didn't work (my phone is on iOS 14.8).

Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy -> iTunes & App Store Purchases -> Deleting Apps. It must be on Allow.

Also tried going to Settings -> Safari -> and hit Clear history and web data but it didn't help either.

Also checked Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage but the app wasn't even listed there.

Urgently need help. Am concerned that this might be a site/link for malware or virus. Thank you.

First disable the Screen Time Restrictions, if any.

Settings > Screen Time > Contenet And Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps > [Allow]

There are six possibilities

Delete an offloaded App
Delete an App from the Home Screen
Remove an App from the Home Screen - Will be placed in the App Library
Delete an App from the App Library
Delete an inbuilt App - Not feasible
Delete an inbuilt App with one feature - You do not get any options either (e.g. Magnifier)

Thank you for your recommendations. However, as mentioned earlier, I already did the following steps but it didn't work.

Settings > Screen Time > Contenet And Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > Deleting Apps > [Allow]

After viewing the GIF, tried already items 1-4 but they didn't work. Items 5-6 aren't also applicable coz it's not an inbuilt app.

If anyone else can suggest other solutions, would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
