I’ve been patient with my iPad the whole year hoping that apple would fix this problem in some updates. My iPad gets uncomfortably hot while writing with my Apple Pencil in notes app. Is it a faulty piece or is there any one with the same problem? Is there any way to fix this? Do the iPad Pro has the same problem or am I safe buying it? Please answer I’m desperate!

I think it is time you need to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Apple iPad diagnosed and options presented you.
Failing that,
You need to contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.
Use the Hardware Repair, Device Performance and Connectivity support categories.

Is your screen brightness always at 100% in the classroom?
Having the screen at 100% can not only make thr iPad hot, but also affect battery life.
Does your iPad ever get unusually hot any other times?
Are you using this iPad while it is plugged into power trying to charge, but discharges power at the same time?
No, I am just using it to take notes during the class. It is not plugged into power.
That's the brightness I have in my class. My iPad does not get hot even when I play graphic intensive games, but, as soon as I start taking notes with apple pencil, it first gets warm on the lower side then it becomes extremely hot on the lower side and considerably hot on the upper side. It gets even hotter when I use it with my mac.
