What can I do to control the background noise while I'm not talking?? I understand the chip allows the "speech-detecting accelerometer works with beamforming microphones to filter out external noise and focus on the sound of your voice", but when I'm not talking its sounds very loud. I just want to know if this is something I can control on the 2nd generation AirPod.

Hi diegoc75,

We understand you have a question about the microphone on your AirPods and the background noise while on a call. That's a great question. As noted in the following resource "Powered by the all-new Apple H1 headphone chip, AirPods use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect when they’re in your ears. Whether you’re using both AirPods or just one, the H1 chip automatically routes the audio and engages the microphone. And when you’re on a call or talking to Siri, an additional speech-detecting accelerometer works with beamforming microphones to filter out external noise and focus on the sound of your voice. ":

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
