Star Ratings From Downloaded Songs - Transfer to Apple Music?

Hello,

I am thinking of going to Apple Music have downloaded tons of songs from iTunes since its inception. I currently have about 15K songs on my Mac Book and I have carefully curated these songs by adding star ratings for use in Smart Playlists. If I move to Apple Music, will these star ratings transfer over to the songs I download from Apple Music?

Apple Music supports album and track ratings. Changes you make in one library should show up in another.

So just to be clear, then all of the star ratings I have given to my purchased music will transfer over to the Apple Music versions of the same songs?

Yes. I would nonetheless advise that you take a complete backup of the state of your library and media before you start your subscription.
