my serial number
When I put in my serial number for my MacBook Pro,, I get a message that that serial number is for a different product. I tried 3 times, with the same message.

Are you copying and pasting..? You don' want to have to guess

Apple does not use Letter O for this reason in their Serial Numbers, you can see this in plain txt
Not to say there is not an error—it is known to happen
