I am receiving the privacy warning on my iPhone 12 running ios 14.8. Toggling the Private Address switch does no good. I do not receive this when connecting to this network with other devices or to other networks with this device.

What exactly is this privacy warning? Is is saying a security issue? Can you provide the exact text of this warning? You are saying that you are receiving this warning when connecting to a network, are you referring to a wi-fi network other than your own?
"This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic. The names of websites and and other servers your device accesses on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network." I am connecting to my own private wi-fi network.
