IOS 15 update

I updated my iPhone SE to IOS 15 and it has rendered my phone basically useless. Most of my apps no longer work. I have attempted to delete the update in iPhone storage however it will not delete. Is there another solution other than installing an older backup?

Back up your phone. Restore it as new using your computer. This will install a fresh copy of iOS. Then, restore from your backup.
