Hardware sample rate converter

I have a Mac Mini (M1 2020, Monterey) connected via USB to an NAD M12 preamplifier. I have both Roon and Bluos set up to stream music to the NAD. Songs are automatically streamed at the according sampling rate (44.1 to 192kHz) when using there 2 apps. Is there a way to automatically change the sampling rate when playing through Apple Music? When I stream through Airplay 2, the sampling rate remains at 48kHz regardless of the sampling rate in Apple Music. Similarly, when I play music through the Apple Music app, I can only manually set the sampling rate using Audio MIDI Setup. Is there a way to have the Audio MIDI setup change the sampling rate automatically rather than leaving it on 44.1, 48, 96, 176.4, or 192kHz?
