Swiping lag

Whenever I swipe down to put the video in small box(in youtube)mode it seems to lag quite a bit. I have an iPhone 7 plus so it’s not like it’s the phones problem. I try reinstalling YouTube and resetting and it only works for a little bit before the lag comes back.

And it also happens when i swipe down a whatsapp status.
