CAR Play Issues after IOS15 Update Cannot Load SiriusXM Or Amazon Music

Even though I can start the Sirius XM app on my iPhone and play a station when I go to the app on the car's radio screen and hit favorite channels I get a message that It cannot load Sirius XM I have to go to my phone to change the channel.

Same with Amazon music I can select a track on the iPhone but if I trying to open the app on the car radio screen gives me a can not load amazon music.

My head unit is an Alpine ILX-W650

These apps worked prior to me updating to IOS15

Found a solution on Reddit that worked for me. Disable/turn off EQ in Settings>Music. I had a 12 pro with equilizer enabled and it worked fine even w IOS 15. However, the new 13 pro max would not play any music apps on Carplay until the EQ was turned off. Hope this helps others. 2021 Honda Accord wireless carplay and 13 pro max. Such a random setting...I would have never found it.

I guess I never realized it, but perhaps my phone upgraded overnight to 5.0.2. My XM and FM radio is finally working when my phone is plugged into CarPlay port.

15.1 does NOT Fix the problem! IPhone doesn't connect to the car. Charging works but no audio. This needs to be fixed today! Apple needs to address the problem! 15.1.1 or better needs to happen.

it's a GMC Terrain. Audio worked under ios 14, but nothing under 15 and beyond so far. It is OEM
