CAR Play Issues after IOS15 Update Cannot Load SiriusXM Or Amazon Music

it plugs into the car's usb port as I have since I bought the car. The audio was recognized as an ipod. Until 15.1, now nothing.

I upgraded my IPhone XR to OS15 four days ago, and can no longer stream music from Amazon through CarPlay. I'm beyond mad. I wish I never did the update.

I am guessing it will. It also fixed Pandora for me. I do not use IHeart.

The update release notes say this about iOS 15.0.2. "There's a fix for a CarPlay bug that could cause ‌CarPlay‌ to fail to open audio apps".

i have the same problem in my 2021 toyota supra made by bmw no amazon music working, no xm radio working and iheart radio on playcar sometimes the internet on my iphone 13 pro max fails after updating to 15ios, we need an update to fix all this i dont think is the apps for sure was the update from apple! cause i connect my wife’s iphone to the same car with ios14.8 and works perfect

i just updated to 15.02 ios and is ever worst now i loose internet connection completely and i cant use any app because of it! amazon music worked at first until i lost internet connection in my phone xm does not work ihearth radio does not work! so with this update now i have to disable wifi in order to get internet in my phone so it means that i can not use apple carplay! thats horrible

uninstall and reinstall de app again then do a hard reset pressing volume+ then volum - and home botton then reopen carplay and open i heart radio on carplay and command with siri to play it! let me know

Apple - please fix the apps that black out once carplay is out of use - Amazon music continues to black out the app upon releasing from carplay where I have to delete the app from my home screen and reinstall. Really???!!!

The 15.2 update worked for only 3 days. Now my music apps won’t work in my car again. Apple rep tells me its the car manufacturer’s fault and I should be demanding answers from them. Smh I’m done with Apple.

I have tried that and it does not fix the issue with SiriusXM.

I called Apple Support yesterday. iOS 15.0.2 update fixes this problem. I downloaded the update and my radio was finally able to connect to SiriusXM thru Apple CarPlay.

Yes. I installed it yesterday. It fixed the problem.

Apple fixes one issue - creates another 2!!! 😩

15.2 fixed my problem with Sirius XM working on Car Play! Yay!

The vehicle manufacturer may need to release an update for their software as well.
