I have turned off my iphone and apple watch - the new mindfulness app does not work; please fix. When I click on the post to 'reflect' it takes me to the icon; I click 'reflect' but nothing happens; I click 'done' but nothing happens.

I have also turned off my iphone and apple watch - the new mindfulness app does not work; please fix. When I click on the app, I click 'breathe' but nothing happens; if I click 'done' nothing happens. It's useless - please bring back the previous Breathe app
Except that turning the Watch off and on again only works until the next time the app plays dumb - you have to do this every time! Apple need to fix this rubbish fast. The only way to stop the problem coming up every day is to turn off the notifications for Mindfulness. Then you can access Mindfulness from the apps screen and it works fine. Of course, this means you might forget to use it but if it mostly doesn't work anyway, that's no real loss. It also means you have to press more buttons to access the app (unless you add it to your Watch screen). The best solution of for Apple to fix it. Cant repeat that often enough to deaf ears.

Hi all, I found a YouTube video, which explained how to remove an app from the Apple Watch. I did not understand how to do this, but tried. I could not remove the Mindfulness App, however, I again turned my watch off - third time I have turned my watch off and back on - and the Mindfulness app is finally working !! Good luck !!
My mindfulness app on my watch 5 is still locking up. I understand how to use it. And yes I have turned off/back on several times. Each time it works, until it locks up again. It also no longer reminds me to do my sessions each day (and I have checked the settings). This battle started with the update to the new app. Please fix. I really miss my 'breathes' and 'reflects'.
My mindfulness app on my series 6 watch is locking up. I have used the breathe app for awhile now. I have turned off/back on several times. Each time it works once and then locks up again. This started with the update to the new app.
I have the app on Watch3. App works ok on iphone8. Watch won't do anything but ask me to start a meditation on the phone, and then it shows me only the percentage reduction in heart rate for my very first meditation. There's no "reflect", no "Breathe". No buttons. Whatsoever. Uninstalled, restarted both devices no change. It's broken. I've seen the images of what's supposed to be there... not even close. Suggestions?
Same exact problem… since the update, my mindfulness app is not working! I’m getting breathe alerts but “breathe” icon is frozen and “done” is frozen.. same with mindfulness alert… it was fine before the update!! I miss the old app! APPLE - PLEASE FIX
I have the same problem. Watch6 reminds me to open Mindfulness but only give me the option for Breath, when I select Breath it don’t play the 1 minute session. It just immediately shows done. I am sure its just a OS bug and not a way to force us to purchase the Watch7
This sounds similar to what happened to me. It opened up to some type of summary page that I couldn’t close. Not wanting to restart the watch as others suggested, I eventually hit the side button and swiped the mindfulness app away. After I restarted the app itself, it appears to be working fine.
Actually this seems very broken indeed. On restart of watch I click on mindfulness, click on breath, went to adjust time from 1 min and couldn’t get back from the next menu without restarting watch. How much stress can you get from a mindfulness app????
That is interesting; I have restarted my watch and phone several times; the mindfulness app will work for a short time but then will not, unless opened manually. I hope it continues to work for you !!
Mine has been stuck for over 2 weeks. The mindfulness session was interrupted, but I can't click done to restart it or reset it. It is the same stuck screen when I open from the app screen. Worked fine until the latest update phone update. Very frustrating.
It’s very odd but this is now working as it should for me. It took several restarts but all three sections of the app are behaving correctly. Apart from restarts I’m not aware of having done anything different with the watch (updates etc, although I may have missed something that installed overnight I guess). Can only think the mindfulness app was conflicting with another app - but that’s a wild guess, obviously.
