How long does it take to process my order 2021?

I preordered the 13Pro max on 19th. The apple store apps shows standard deliver on 24th. But right now still on processing to ship. So my preorder phone will deliver on Friday on time or will be delay…

If your order says it will be delivered the 24th, it will be delivered the 24th. Updates for launch phones are always pretty delayed.


For example, my order for both iPhones says Delivery the 24th. The order itself has been on Preparing to Ship since I ordered the phones. But I have a UPS My Choice account and our phones actually left China on the 19th and will arrive in Louisville, KY later tonight. The order at Apple hasn't updated, but the phones are still on their way.


Be patient. They'll come when promised.

UPS My Choice accounts are made from the UPS web site. They offer free or for fee options. The for fee options offer more choices, but even the free option allows you to select where to leave packages or waive signatures. And either offers detailed tracking from within an iOS, iPadOS, MacOS, windows or android app.


But they have nothing to do with Apple or what info Apple offers on their web site for orders. UPS is an independent company and they have their own offerings for tracking shipments.

Mine is in Kentucky as well, and this AM I got the shipment confirmation email from Apple as well.


It also confirmed my AT&T service will be setup on eSIM.

"Do I need a SIM card?

iPhone 13 models activate on eSIM. With eSIM, no physical SIM card is needed to connect to a cellular data plan, though you will need Wi-Fi for setup.

iPhone 12 and earlier models may arrive with a physical SIM card already installed depending on your choice of carrier."

I’m beginning to see widespread reports of a delay of maybe a week or more in carriers shipping iPhone 13 preorders that were placed on Sept. 17, particularly in the Pro models.


I placed mine about 5 minutes after preorders went live, and my AT&T order info shows it still sitting in “ordered” status and not shipped, with no further information. I have received no communication about a delay in shipping or receipt, despite the promised delivery date of Sept. 24.


There are widespread reports of shipping delays for UK carriers, and they’ve had most of the day to get caught up with any shipping updates. The carriers seem to be telling people it could be a week or more before they ship.


So, a preorder with a release-day delivery promise is apparently FAR from a guarantee that you will get it on release day. At least this year.

While I use AT&T, I ordered directly from Apple and mine arrived about 2 hours ago (eSIM already set up with my service). Already set it up and am using it (still need to set up cards in Apple Pay though, since those don't transfer).


But there often are delays in other parts of the world, since the shipping routes from China are different and thus subject to separate issues with weather, shipper issues and such.
