AirPods Max turn AppleTV off

First night with AirPods Max and using them with my Apple TV 4K (updated) and after watching TV for a short while, the AppleTV turns off, almost like it’s acting like the power saving timeout is activated. When I have the sound run through the Bose Soundbar the TV stays on.

Apple TV shows AirPods Pro connected but it still uses the TV speaker Can somebody please tell me how to fix this apart from turning the TV off for 5 mins then turning it back on or is it the only fix that Apple wants us to do? AirPods Max play my music from turned off Apple TV I have an Apple TV and connect my AirPods Max for sound (which is great mostly!) When I put the Max headphones on this morning, they immediately started playing my music. They weren’t connected to my iPad or iPhone, and neither had anything playing. It was from the Apple TV, which was turned off. Confirmed this by checking Now Playing in Music when I turned the Apple TV on. I don’t listen to Music from the TV. How do I stop it from starting up? The Apple TV is up to date on the current tvOS 16.2 (20K5331f). The AirPods are current on firmware. This issue is intermittent and has happened on older tvOS versions. Thanks!

Update: there is a consistent 18 minute period before the TV turns off.

FIXED: Turns out there was an auto off active on the Bose and when the headphones were playing sound the soundbar would turn off the tv after 18 minutes.
