cracking sound in hinge of macbook air

i hear cracking soound in hinges of macbook air m1 purchased on 12 june 2021 through apple.com i dont have any idea waht can i do now???

hinge is making sound my hinge is making sound is having a cracking sound when I my MacBook lid is open for 1 to 1.5 hr on the same position without and interruption and then I try to close it it feels like its is locked and with a bone cracking sound it closes. is it a issue with the hinge or its have a design fault on this model? or its a manufacturing error.

MacBook Air M1 Hinge problem I've bought the new MacBook Air M1 about a month ago and I have noticed a creaking noise every time I shut the lid down after having it open for a good amount of time. This noise isn't there when I open it and close it immediately though. It only happens when I close the lid after a while. I don't know if this is normal or if I should take it to a service person. I'm also wondering if it would be covered under warranty if there was any problem with the hinge. (It's a new laptop and I have not dropped it or damaged it in any way).

M1 Macbook Air Issues with the M1 Macbook Air Hinge? Hi, Like other people on this forum I had heard a cracking sound on my macbook air hinge, but didn't really think much of it because I didn't notice any issues and thought it was maybe my computer protector cracking. Low and behold but I notice a part of my hinge coming out of of the top of my computer. I have an appointment with the Genius bar tomorrow but I need my computer for the next couple of weeks and as a result can't have it sent away for repairs. Anyone know if they can fix this in store or does it have to be sent away?
