iOS 15 Focus Status not working

I’ve been having the same issues where friends and family are saying my notifications are being silenced. I have

deleted all my focus/dnds that were scheduled,

had it not share status with contact and

had it disabled for messages

my friends still get the message saying my notifications are being silenced.

I have this issue as well. I've verified that all iOS devices have DnD/Focus turned off. Family members are still seeing that "____ has notifications silenced". Have tried restarting all devices... double and triple checked that Focus/DnD are turned off. This isn't user error

This has not helped at all, as other replies have said nothing fixes this problem. from deleting all of the focuses to restarting our phones, its obviously an IOS 15.1 issue which I'm sure we'd all like to get fixed. As it makes others thing they cannot reach us through our phones and can cause communicative issues between others.

Mine is the same! It will not turn off even though I have the status turned off. It is frustrating to have people texting me if I’m ok and send me a screenshot that I have notifications silenced when I, in fact, do not!

This is DEFINITELY STILLL AN ISSUE!!! Hoping the new update fixes this. It’s ridiculous at this point and I shouldn’t be fighting with my phone this way. It’s like I have to go to every single contact to turn it off. It’s overwhelming and redundant. Either fix it or get rid of it all together please and thank you!!!

FOCUS feature still has a bug even after my update today. I should not be paying installments for a phone that can not have applications working properly. I will contact Att and let them know they need to give me back my money fir these past two months of headache with this feature. Apple sucks big time not happy rather be an Android girl!!!!!

Just updated to 15.2.1 this morning. I am now having this exact same issue. I have all focus items deleted with the exception of Do Not Disturb which is turned off. I also have focus turned off in the iMessage app as well. Very frustrating!

I have done everything ypu have suggested and more after watching countless youtube videos and reading loads of threads on this problem. I have even deleted all Focus options except DND because it cant be deleted.

It is still showing as me having Notifications Silenced on all my friends phones.

This is clearly a problem given the number of people with the same problem.

This is unacceptable from Apple.

I am missing messages because people think I am busy.

I am also loosing business because customer think I am unavailable.

Perhaps there needs to be group action to recover losses!

C'mon Apple... please fix this! It's ridiculous that this bug has been going on for months now. You've completely messed up Do Not Disturb with a very buggy "Focus"..... fix it! And if you don't know how to fix it, can you update your icloud website to show us what mode the SERVER thinks we're in and WHAT DEVICE is telling the SERVER to set it that way??? All I see is blah blah, share across devices... blah blah... check all your devices.... blah blah... update your devices.... blah blah. Well, you have the option to "sync across all devices", and ALL MY DEVICES show that focus is NOT on... however, all my contacts get the "his notifications are turned off" in iMessage. PLEASE FIX IT!

Thank you! I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with Apple Support performing the same rudimentary troubleshooting steps every time (update, restart, reset, etc). This is absolutely ridiculous and DEF a glitch. They even tried to pass the buck and tell me that my contacts in receipt of the “her notifications are silenced” message are not operating on the current IOS and need to perform an update. That fixed nothing.

I get excited with every update, hoping it will fix this issue but no luck so far. it’s clearly not a priority to Apple.

So frustrating! Same Focus issues with i12 mini. Nothing fixes this glitch and it is a major issue if others constantly think you’re not looking at their messages!

APPLE please provide an update or at least comment on where you are at!

I have Focus turned off and it is still giving this message. I also have notifications turned on. Is Apple going to correct this?

This bug is persisting after 15.2 iOS update. I have deleted all focus options, except for do not disturb which is in disabled mode, yet my notifications remain silenced

Also experiencing the same bug. My wife’s message thread shows her notifications are disabled when they are not. Please fix!
