iOS 15 Focus Status not working

I have set my Focus Status as disabled for when I enable Do Not Disturb.

However, on iMessage my friends are still being notified that “Ben has notifications silenced”

why is this happening?

I had this issue as well. I have multiple apple devices and this focus notification is shared across all devices. I spent days trying to figure it out and then I did. My iPad Pro was still in the focus mode “Sleep”. Once I turned it off, the notification that my notifications were muted went away. I hope this helps!

I agree.., THIS IS A DEFECT and truly medically dangerous bug. My diabetic son can not reach me sometime nor I him. It is Dec 27. Disabling focus STILL does not work and my family sees notifications are silenced. Please fix this. It doesn’t matter if I add people or apps (even though I have everything disabled anyway). The notifications Silenced still intermittently shows up. I can’t keep hard restarting all the family phones to fix this.
