Chesona will send you an email with update link. You’ll need a Windows PC, connect the USB A to the Windows PC then the USB-C to the keyboard.

Click on the patch update from the email in Windows, this will run the patch, once completed the keyboard should work.

CHESONA was awesome in getting me the link and providing instructions for the update which was very easy to do with my Windows 10 laptop and USB A (computer) to USB C (port on case at bottom R side of screen part). Emailed them and they responded within a few hours. Took only a few minutes to update the keyboard case and it's working as it did before the update. So glad I wont have to give up my iPad and get a Samsung tablet!!

Chesona has released an update so you will need to get into contact with the keyboard manufacturer and provide your reciept number or order number to them. They will email you a link. I have as well a chesona and it is working now after i manually patched the keyboard. You will need a windows device and a USB-c to usb in order to patch the keyboard itself to be able to function in the ios15 update. So far Its working and I can get back to my studies but since update from ios15 theres touch screen delays. I am disappointed in this update as theres way to many bugs which devalues my ipad. I mean I might as well have bought an ipad 2 if its going to be slow like this. Contact Chesona on your smart keyboard. I also loved the homescreen setup but on the IOS15 its different I do not like it at alll!!!1

I have the same keyboard and the same issue. The blue connection icon comes up when I turn on the keyboard and the keyboard lights up but will not work. I have removed the keyboard and restarted the device with no improvement. It was definitely the iOS 15 update that did it. I can’t find any new settings that might fix it either. I’m hoping apple will get involved here and find a fix because I need the keyboard for work.

I have the same case and same issue. I found no settings fixed it, restarting the iPad didn't, and allowing USB accessories and keyboard access in setting didn't help either fix it. The only odd thing that worked was I had multiple adaptors put in between the cases cable and the iPad. So like I have a USB c adaptor go to a micro USB then do to a USB c again and that weirdly worked. It was a pain though and I had to have the iPad out of the case for it all to fit and I feel isn't a permanent solution and should not have to be done.

Hi AEDesign,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

We are happy to help with the issue you are having with your iPad Pro case keyboard not working after you updated. We see you came from If you can't connect your iPad to your Magic Keyboard, Smart Keyboard, or Smart Keyboard Folio. Were you able to restart your iPad and test?

Is there a way to restart the keyboard?

Cheers!
