After I upgraded OS to Big Sur, my MacBook Pro will not accept my password.

I have not changed my password at all.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

My MacBook Password Every since I updated my Macbook Pro to Big Sur I have had nurmerous issues. Currently, I am able to log into my macbook with my password, however, when I need to update or make changes to my computer it tells me my password is incorrrect. I am confused by this due to I have not changed my password and my MacBook password allows me to log in but not make changes. This all started after downloading the Big Sur update - any suggestions?

password not recognized Since updating to Big Sur, my password isn't working. I can log into the Mac, but I can't unlock preferences. Today I went to try to reset password, and when it asked for my password, I get the shaking box. it is the correct password and the same I use to log into the Mac, I only use one password. any help is appreciated.

Incorrect Password? Since Upgrading to Big Sur I just tried to enter the password I have always had used for my Mac and now it's telling it's not correct. This just happened after upgrading to Big Sur. How do I fix it or change the password?

Try restating in Safe Mode.

It is going to do a Repair Disk, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts so the loading will be slow - Normal. Then attempt to log in as per normal process. What happens ??
