Apple TV app on MacBook Pro keeps freezing Every time I try to watch a movie on the Apple TV app, it drops the frame rate to a stutter or completely freezes. I’ve actually gotten to the point where I had to restart my computer because the app froze, but couldn’t be cmd q’d out of. It’s an early 2020. I’ve reset the smc multiple times (which is what other articles recommended doing), and my internet is fast enough to play other streaming services or online games without a problem. I don’t know what to do here; my 2015 MacBook Pro never had these problems, so I’ve never dealt with this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Macbook Pro 2019, running AppleTV freezes during playback or exits content. Not a problem streaming movies I own... this is specifically content on Apple TV . Is there a troubleshooting methodology besides 'force quit and reboot'.l Apple TV worked great. Added Apple TV+ to stream new content. The AppleTV+ content does not play back without freezing or exiting content every 15 minutes or so, or sometimes earlier. Great network connectivity and can play owned movies without any problems. It is strictly Apple TV+ content that is affected. This is on Macbook Pro 2019. Has anyone else had this problem? TV v 1.2.2.40
