Unable to accept Terms and Conditions in iTunes Windows

Hello,

I'm trying to use the iTunes app, which I downloaded from the Microsoft Store. After logging in with my Apple ID, a message box appears, saying "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. Please review your account information." So I click "Review", and a "Complete your Apple ID" page appears, where I would have to accept Terms and Conditions. I don't see a button or checkbox to accept them, which seems fine at first, because the page says "By clicking continue, you acknowledge that you agree to the ...". But then I click continue, and a message box appears, saying "You must agree to the ... to continue". I attached a screenshot.

Thank you for any help in advance!

Best regards,

Gábor

Managed to find the root cause of everybody's problems: site https://appleid.apple.com/ is where u manage your Apple ID. Here the terms and conditions are downloadable as PDF's but there is no feature that allows u to accept T&C. What I did as someone who does not own any Apple products is use the site to create my ID. Apple TV is different in that it is a software product that runs on various non Apple platforms.

What the good folks at Apple have presumed is that you own Apple hardware and have used its supporting app which allows u to agree T&C hence the lack of feature mentioned above. All Apple have to do is add the feature to its maintenance site which brings with it platform independence.

I downloaded the Apple Music app from Play Store on a Samsung tablet entered my ID completed what was required including agreeing T&C then on a windows laptop logged into Apple TV to complete my subscription. Then I uninstalled the Music app. So the bunny is happy; watched two episodes of Foundation and will buy the 12 months subscription when the 7 days free trial ends and all without owning any Apple products.

Hope this helps.

OB1a's solution, albeit not great with having to download and configure Apple Music on a different device, did work wonderfully for me having the same issue. As noted above, the app itself had the "needed" check box which allowed me to officially set up my account after the ID was created. Restarting iTunes didn't even prompt for the "verify T&C" after that.

Hello FactorialG,

We see that you're having trouble accepting the terms and conditions. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction!

If you haven't already, could you try restarting your computer? If that doesn't seem to help also try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

After that if the issue still remains, could you confirm if you have any security software? If so, does temporarily disabling that seem to help?

Cheers!

Perhaps if you click on the link to the Terms and Conditions page, you might find the accept button there.

Think about this logically, it is only by going to that page that you can read the information, but until you read the information you cannot click anything to say that you are acknowledging what you have read.

Let us know if I'm correct as this question has been raised in the past.

I tried this, but there is no accept button there either. Here is a screenshot of the page that appears after I click on the link:

And this is a screenshot of the same page if I scroll down to the bottom:

I also tried clicking "Go Back", and then "Continue" again, but the error is the same.

(I also tried clicking on "Printable Version", and then it opens in a web browser. But it doesn't affect the error.)

Edit: Sorry, the screenshots have disappeared, I don't know why. But in any case, there is no accept button there either.

Edit2: I uploaded the screenshots here:
