Apple TV sound out of sync

It's totally unacceptable: no one even tried to play audio through airplay before release of a final...

Shameless.

For me is more and more hard to justify the price premium on Apple products...

I miss Jobs era when things "just works"... Airplay1 protocol is from 2004, it's totally unacceptable that after 17 years we experience a bug like this on a market release. Really really unacceptable.

Same issue here.

Apple TV hdmi to projector, audio Airplay to Yamaha RN602 which only support Airplay 1. Audio is out of sync from video and delay increases over time.

Spoke to support over the phone, no fix in sight, no way to downgrade from tvOS 15… Really disappointed.

Need a fix quickly, this is bad!

Same problem here using Apple TV 4K and AirPlay across all apps: Netflix, amazon, etc, etc

Out of synch appears very quickly within minutes or less. Restarting the app fixes it but it happens again after a few mins.

This is making Apple TV absolutely unusable ..

Please fix me it ASAP before I decide to buy an Amazon or Google device!

I am tempted to try the Beta, but I am afraid that it will brick my AppleTV like a previous beta update.

I think that Apple should address this issue in the next release: Airport is a proprietary protocol so they know it better than anyone else.

The TvOS 15.1 does not fix the problem. :-( Just tried it..

Ahh sorry about that , I assumed it was, I’m working from my one Beta box. I saw IOS 15.1 be released and assumed they released it on all products, the working TVOS is 15.1 (19J5560d)

I checked yesterday and no updates were available on my Apple TV ??

Same. Since the OS15 Apple TV (gen 4) upgrade, my Yamaha YSP-1600 soundbar is out of sync using Airplay with Netflix, Prime, Infuse etc. Weirdly no sync issues with VLC. Used the AirPlay iPhone calibration feature which makes no difference. Tested with my SONOS which syncs fine all round. Not good - please address this.

I changed the cable as suggested by "CoolBob" and the problem remains ..

Apple update broke Airplay support.

Please fix that ASAP!

I tried calibration and it doesn't solve the problem
