Whatsapp flickering screen on iPhone 13 pro max
My whatsapp screen(keyboard area) starts to flicker after changing to this new phone.
Is my phone defective?

If you have only noticed the keyboard issue with WhatsApp, it's an issue isolated to this third-party app. Your new iPhone would not be defective at all.
These steps would be best to follow: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open. You may need to follow the steps under "Get more help" and contact the developer.
