How do I remove contact photos from notifications?
I have my iMessage contact photo turned off but the photos coming up in notification, very irritating
Yes I have the same on my original iPhone SE, no option to turn off the contact photo's.
Meantime on my iPhone SE2020 switching the option off doesn't turn off the photo's.
Very annoying as I have vision issues and so have increased the font size to make the text more visible.
Go to Settings>Messages>Show Contact Photos, turn that off.
I have the Show Contact Photos turned off but they still show up on the notifications themselves.
I just updated to 15.1 and also have those annoying grey contact icons show up on text in Lock Screen. I don’t have a “turn off contacts photo” option now in message settings. Any ideas?
This feature is awful. Hope it’s fixed soon. Don’t like contact photos taking up space in notification banner
It wastes space in my phone and on my watch. I turned off contact pics for a reason. Please give us options.
