File is damaged and cannot be opened

Hello All

I was downloading a gaming program, however when I tried to open the program it says file is damaged and cannot be opened.

I have already set the terminal setting to sudo spctl --master-disable, the security setting is set to downloading from Anywhere.

When I entered my password on terminal, a list of errors popped up. something along the lines of OBJC [#] Class.. One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined.

Anyways, I tried to open the file again afterwards and is still damaged and cannot be opened, suggest to move to trash. Is there a bug with my computer? This is a brand new MacBook Pro

Sounds like the download is damaged

If a download is damaged or corrupt you are not going to open it. Try a different source, try a faster Network if your downlaod speed is suspect.

Changing user preferences or holding the Control key is all that is needed to proceed.
