iPhone 13 pro - Pre - Order processing since purchased

when I pre - ordered my iPhone 13 pro, I was sent a "order confirmation" which is obviously normal for everyone.

I keep checking my order each day to see if anything has changed on it or not, so for the past nearly 2 weeks or rather 3 and a half weeks at this point it still says that my order is "processing" I completely and truly understand that I would expect this for a new product or iPhone, I also understand that a lot of apple's suppliers may be experiencing issues with parts for the new iPhones and other new products.

I would really like someone to tell me how long this should last for and when it should update, because I think this is a bit silly.

I hope that apple can speed up all orders for all the new products.

also could someone please get to the bottom of this question because if loads of YouTubers are getting the products EARLY???? so if they got the new products early to test out, why can't they just send out the orders for all the new iPhones 13, 13 mini, 13 pro, and 13 pro max, because that clearly isn't fair to all of us that they get the products early and that we all have to wait for ages to get ours.

Very few people just walked into any Apple Store on the 24th and walked out with a phone without a pre-order. Apple may have some limited stock for walk-in customers, but it's extremely limited.

You can take your chances and go to your Apple Store and be in line before the store opens and see if you can get the phone you want. If you can, you can cancel your order as long as it's not preparing to ship. And even then, if you ultimately get your ordered phone delivered, you have 14 days to return if for full refund.

The fact you ordered on the 17th doesn't guarantee you'd get one on the 24th. Millions upon millions of people hit order that morning. You'd had to have been poised to place your order at precisely 5:00 AM Pacific time. Even an hour later and deliveries were slipping out to what you got. And by that afternoon, deliveries were towards the end of October. They are now into November.

This is a very unique year.

Demand for the new phones is higher than in past years
The Pandemic is causing manufacturing delays all around the world and not just for phones, but for anything requiring chips in them. This is causing issues for Automobile manufacturers to Appliance and just about everything in-between.
The camera modules are made in Viet Nam, and there are shortages of parts
There are forced electrical blackouts in China where final assembly takes place

Last year, I ordered iPhone 12 Pro Max, within minutes of pre-orders going live. My phone didn't arrive on launch day, it arrived 3 weeks later. Apple orders go in order of when the order was placed. People ordered ahead of you and you'll have to be patient.

2 more day, will be full 2weeks, I purchased on launch day the first min, and people who walked in apple store at 24th, it's already get the phone, so I don't know why apple makes a pre order thing, why letting people wait the first thing morning to pre order and get phone actually on month later, what is the point, and I order the iPad pro on the launch day too last year it's only take 5days change to prepare to ship, but this phone takes forever

No one on this forum works for Apple. I'm a user just like you, so I cannot do anything to get your phone faster to you.

thank you for the reply sir! keeping my fingers crossed! lol, I was given dates too with my macbook and aripods, and both arrive a day or two before the earliest posted date from apple, hope the same happens with the iphones too, i'm just worried since it is so in demand that delays or moving the dates further might be possible from apple, i hope not

No one here works for Apple. Apple will deliver the phones when they have them ready to deliver. They won't move that schedule for you specifically. All you can do is hope they arrive in time for your flight.

just to take into account, they won't have custom iPhones in stock in apple stores, because there are different variants.

they would only have iPhones 13's in all colours with standard amount of storage.

Of course that begs the question of what a "standard" amount of storage is.

For example, in past years Apple has stocked a low memory config and a maxed out config.

It's virtually impossible to tell from the web site, you have to go to the physical store and see which SKUs they have on hand or expect to.

The status WON'T change until the watch is actually preparing to ship. You will get your watch sometime between October 19th and October 26th. Once the status does change to preparing to ship, it will move very quickly from that point.

I'd really like to get your opinion on the fact people who have ordered as late as October 19th now have their phones. I have also seen tons of people get updated shipping times. Meanwhile I ordered on the 11th and mine is still in "processing" with time estimates of Nov 9-16 and has been the same since day 1. Yeah I know "it'll only change when it is actually about to be shipped" fine. But why are people getting their order weeks earlier.? I STILL see people all over Reddit who ordered before I did, some as early as September and they have yet to receive their phones. Clearly Apple's system isn't anything you thought it was.

Hmm… i’m not sure about what i can do, but i can ensure you that it will ship no later than a week. (Unless the est. changes)

I order mines oct. 9 and mines just changed to “preparing to ship”. My est. arrival is 10-17. Scared that they will still be prepping mines.

That does help thank you. It's just annoying because I chatted with them yesterday and they couldn't answer if they ship on weekends. 😅 They also kept saying that do to lack of availability it will take longer for me to get my phone. And I was like it's preparing to ship though...doesn't that mean I have one so that's not relevant? Idk maybe the "specialist" was confused.
