That's terrific. The status will change to shipped very quickly and you're coveted phone will be in your hands this coming week! When the phone ships, you'll get a notification from Apple WITH a tracking number, so you'll be able to know exactly when it will arrive. Make sure someone is home to accept delivery.

The status WON'T change until the watch is actually preparing to ship. You will get your watch sometime between October 19th and October 26th. Once the status does change to preparing to ship, it will move very quickly from that point.

I'd really like to get your opinion on the fact people who have ordered as late as October 19th now have their phones. I have also seen tons of people get updated shipping times. Meanwhile I ordered on the 11th and mine is still in "processing" with time estimates of Nov 9-16 and has been the same since day 1. Yeah I know "it'll only change when it is actually about to be shipped" fine. But why are people getting their order weeks earlier.? I STILL see people all over Reddit who ordered before I did, some as early as September and they have yet to receive their phones. Clearly Apple's system isn't anything you thought it was.

It totally depends on the phone model, color and memory. You have to remember everyone doesn't order the exact same configuration. Apple's system doesn't discriminate. Things go in the order based on date of order, model and configuration ordered and availability of that exact model. Clearly you don't understand how the supply chain and real-time ordering works. that said, instead of asking for my opinion, if you're not happy tell Apple how you think their ordering system should work.

You're welcome. This year can't be compared to ANY other year since the dawn of preordering iPhone. Supply chain issues throughout the world are making it hard to get just about anything. On the news tonight they said they can't make enough wine bottles and people should be expecting wine shortages. Anything which requires manufacturing is suffering right now. And it's doubly hard with electronics with a worldwide chip shortage.

I ordered two Apple Watch 7 Stainless Steel within two days of preorders opening up. That was about October 9th or so. I won't see the watches at the earliest until November 24th. We all just have to understand we'll be waiting longer for things this year.

Once the world returns to normal (if that ever happens), things like this won't be such an issue. But this year, they most certainly are.

Apple didn't give a specific date it would arrive. They gave a window of dates it could arrive within. Like November 5th - 10th. It will stay in processing till the moment it's being prepared to ship, then typically shipped within 24 hours. You will THEN and only THEN get a specific date you can expect the phone to be delivered.

Hmm… i’m not sure about what i can do, but i can ensure you that it will ship no later than a week. (Unless the est. changes)

I order mines oct. 9 and mines just changed to “preparing to ship”. My est. arrival is 10-17. Scared that they will still be prepping mines.

It's just annoying because I chatted with them yesterday and they couldn't answer if they ship on weekends. 😅 They also kept saying that do to lack of availability it will take longer for me to get my phone. And I was like it's preparing to ship though...doesn't that mean I have one so that's not relevant? Idk maybe the "specialist" was confused.

Yes, Apple is very accurate. You can count on it NOT going out past the 26th.
