After updating my iPhone 11 to iOS 15, importing projects edited in the iPhone to iMovie in mac showing error,
Error in iOS Project Import
Failed to import iOS project. The project’s version is too new.
While checking the version of Mac iMovie - 10.2.5
iOS iMovie Ver - 2.3.3
Does anyone know how to fix this issue, not seen any new version in the Mac app store for iMovie.

From the error message it looks like Mac iMovie hasn’t kept pace with the iOS update. If that’s the case then Apple will need to fix it with an update to Mac iMovie. Or possibly the issue is with the iOS update.
You might try posting your question on the iMovie for iOS forum. You can Google it to find the addy.
