iMovie Error: Failed to import iOS project. The project’s version is too new.

I airdrop a project file made on iOS over to my mac, and when I attempt to open it in iMovie, I get this error message.

The issue you are experiencing has come up before. I am not aware of any solution as yet. It might be something that Apple will need to resolve in a future update.
