My podcasts and Amazon music are not working using CarPlay since the iOS 15 update despite not allowing driving focus.

Since the iOS 15 update I’m having problems with CarPlay. I can’t listen to a podcast or music. No problem with waze or phone calls. K turned off allowing focus but still doesn’t allow me to play anything.

Podcast app won't work with CarPlay So I thought if I got a new phone with an updated iOS it would get fixed, but I was wrong. This has been happening for months where it tells me to use the app on the phone and won't load with CarPlay. This has been happening over many different vehicles (I change cars due to work every few days). Any suggestions?

iOS 16.5 broke wired CarPlay Podcasts Ironically, the release notes state that ios16.5 fixes issues that some people suffered using Podcasts via CarPlay on 14.6.1. I had no problem using PC before upgrading, but since moving to 16.5 earlier today Podcasts doesn’t launch when using CarPlay (or launches but immediately crashes). PC works fine on my phone (13Pro), and everything else appears to work in CarPlay. I upgraded to 14.5 for the security fixes, but may revert back to 14.6.1 so that PC works again for me.

CarPlay issue yet again Anyone else having issues with CarPlay again after recent update?? Amazon music. Won’t show album or artist when Waze or maps is displayed but will when using music screen. So annoyed with updates always messing up stuff!!! Happening in multiple phones and cars not just mine. 1 step forward 2 steps back APPLE STINKS
