Why is my batter Dying so fast after the iOS 8.0 update?

Why is my watch battery dying so fast since doing the iOS 8.0 update a couple days ago? It's dead by dinner and I used to only have to charge it every other day at most.

Apple Watch Series 4 Battery Since last update Hi, Anyone else noticed a big drop on the battery life since last update a few days ago? On Sunday 12th I upgraded the IOS on my Iphone 11 Pro and also on my Apple Watch series 4 to the latest versions available, before I did the upgrade the battery would last about 48h but since the upgrade it's only lasting about 24h, nothing else changed I'm getting about the same notifications as always, same usage or maybe less. WatchOS 9.4 is eating my battery alive Ever since updating my stainless steel Watch 4 to WatchOS 9.4 the battery is draining in about 10 hours. I used to have a battery life of almost 24 hours, so this is really bad. I've re-paired the watch, no difference. I've completely set it up as a new watch, no difference. My iPhone is a 14 Pro with a fully up to date iOS. Are there any other people that recognise this issue? And are there any solutions out there? It feels a bit like my Watch 1 and 2 again, the final WatchOS update made them unusable. Thanks

Try force restarting phone and watch;

Apple says 18 hours between charges with average use.
