printing an email

I have opened an email and I want to print the contents of the email letter but not all of my side bars and headings. I used to double-click and just open the email and print the email.

How do I just print the email now?

Hi Di Quaresma,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're trying to print an email with just the body of the email, and we'd like to assist.

Take a look at the following resources that can help with printing from your Mac.

Print emails in Mail on Mac

Print documents from your Mac

If the issue remains, can you clarify if you are using the iCloud website in a web browser to view the email? Or are you using an application like Mail or something else? Which version of macOS do you have?

We look forward to learning more about your issue.

Take care.

Thank you for your help with printing emails. I really appreciate your support.

Another question...how can I get my HP Officejet Pro 8600plus printer to scan documents to my desktop Mac computer?

The printer keeps saying it does not recognize my computer and when I try to scan from my Mac, it brings up an error message. Any suggestions to rectify? I have my printer directly plugged into my Mac currently.

Thanks.
