Navigation voice volume in Apple maps is missing in iOS 15. It is annoying to hear the map whispering the direction if I play music in my car. I don’t even use the Apple Music app. I use Spotify. How on earth can Apple bring back the Navigation voice volume in Apple Maps.

The trick is to adjust the volume on the *car* radio while Siri is speaking. The CarPlay app will distinguish to adjust that volume rather than the music volume. You’ll even see a different icon on the volume bar when adjusting during that time.

I can't stand it. Not being able to adjust the maps volume is just wrong. Blasted me out the other day. Seems like they could fix it easy enough. It should go back to the way it was. 3 volume modes.
One of the things that irks me about Apple is that they are tone deaf at times. People have been complaining about this since fall of 2021 and still - NO FIX!
I downloaded Waze and I don't see a volume control. Only sound/mute. Is that it? Thanks.

I did but the sound can only be mute or loud. That is no better as far as I'm concerned. Before at least you had low, med, high. IMO, Waze is no better.
WAZE has a hideous privacy policy if you care about that.
APPLE and GOOGLE probably do too, WAZE just sounded really invasive.

How do you adjust Waze volume? Still very low on my car’s BT.
Honestly this is a huge problem for me since my volume is really loud and it gives me migraines. I might have to use Google Maps if this does not get fixed soon.
This setting no longer exists. Very frustrating.
This changed all volume for me, which makes the music way too loud.
Mine is ear splitting High. I’m going to need to switch to using google maps because it hurts my head it’s so loud. Nothing works.
