Link to iMovie in Photo Library in iOS 15

i too used this every single day. a quick and effortless way to add music to video clips. i'm astounded this has happened; i lost all creativity for just the small things that keep me happy. is anyone aware of any other apps that allow you to add music to video clips in an effortless fashion like what was lost here? i tried clips and iMovie native app and it's just frustratingly waste of time.

i wish i would have known of this before upgrading to 15.x. such a simple feature yet it was my everything.

This removal of iMovie from the phone menu is pretty telling of Apple’s attitude toward customers. I feel like I should be an insecure 14-year-old needing Apple to tell me what is popular while they pickpocket me. I got the 12pro and was going to get newest but not if this keeps up. I bet not one person was answered here.

Thanks for the link. I gave them an earful. Told them what my remote view suggested that youtube alphabrt had infiltrated apple the ceo of youtube convinced that this imovie edit function in photos app was contributing to a dangerous youtube. Youtibe is being censored and neutered to be a safe plAce for chidren. Evil is Google. More now than ever.

Feels like they make so much money they have to do these things so they look busy. And it feels like kids are doing this, not adults.

I have the same issue with closing tabs on my phone. Last phone, 12, used to take two moves. Now you click edit, select Select Tabs or Close All Tabs, then click on the circle upper right in each tab, then click Close Tab, then click Close 1 Tab or Cancel, then click Done. WTF??? I am getting physical injury anymore from my phone. Never been with Android, but friends say it is same problem with constant changing.

I'm jealous and impressed. Now if Apple would do that for me, after all, they sold it to me, then took it away. Just like Adobe took back my $500 Photoshop. Just like Apple made 5 more clicks to closing out pages just so you can get carpal tunnel and give in to Siri. Never! Guess next upgrade I should read the small print, as if they put in there what they are taking away. "Are you sure?" ha ha ha

I’m disappointed because I like the option to link to iMovie through the photo gallery. I can’t for the life of me figure out a simpler method through iMovie itself. Please bring this option back.

use this feature daily for editing music clips into video and now it’s gone. unreal such basic functionality would be stripped away.
