MacBook Pro frozen cursor and keyboard message.

My MacBook Pro cursor is frozen. A message that it’s searching for a Wi-Fi keyboard is continuously running. It hooks into my Wi-Fi but I cannot do anything with my laptop. Any fixes?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Hello kristafromne,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. We understand that your MacBook Pro cursor is frozen.

Does this happen when you are using a certain app? Try the steps from If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac. If you are unable to access any menus, a force shutdown may be necessary. You can do that by pressing and holding the power button until your Mac shuts down. You may lose unsaved changes as mentioned in Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac.

Have a great day!
