Spatial audio in av receiver via chromecast

I have an android phone and I have subscribed for apple music, I have a Dolby Atmos enabled receiver marantz SR 5015, I play spatial audio on the av receiver using Google Chromecast, when I play spatial audio via chromecast , the av receiver gets a stereo signal instead of Atmos surround , why does spatial audio send stereo signal to av receiver via chromecast ? Will it send stereo signal to av receiver from apple tv 4k also?

Spatial audio on older receiver Hi all, I play music on Apple tv 4k trough an Onkyo TX-NR616 receiver and I am a bit frustrated because I cannot deactivate multichannel audio, even if I set Dolby Atmos on off (this receiver isn't even compatible with Dolby Atmos standard). I use two full range speakers for listening music, and 3 smaller speakers for 5.1 content (with te full range ones for front left/right channels). If I turn off Dolby Atmos in settings (apps/music/Dolby Atmos/off) the sound still comes from all speakers. Is it possible to play spatial audio (dolby atmos) content from Apple Music in stereo on my setup? Thanks

Audio source on Apple TV 4K Whenever I stream from Netflix or Amazon prime on my Apple TV 4K it plays it at digital PCM as opposed to Dolby surround. I can get to Dolby surround if I use the LG app on my tv and pass it through to my receiver. I am using: LG C9 Arcam AVR10 Apple TV 4K 4K HDMI cables

AppleTV Surround Sound over Airplay2 I have the following setup: Apple TV 4; Yamaha 6030 Stereo Receiver Airport Express connected to the Yamaha receiver with a toslink cable The Yamaha receiver drives 5.1 speaker set in the TV room. I have the audio output of the Apple TV connected to the Airport Express via Airplay2. The receiver is showing that only 2.0 Stereo sound is being received. Can I not play surround sound over airplay2 from the appleTV? I cannot connect the Apple TV4 to the receiver with a cable; they are in completely separate rooms.
