Why can’t I unsubscribe from the emails offering free months?

I constantly get emails that don’t have an unsubscribe button. And when I ask Apple support they advise to turn off personalized ads, a setting that has been off for years.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand some emails you’re getting do not have an unsubscribe option. In this case, you could use use the steps in this link to move the email to your Junk folder. Mail could start identifying that as as junk after that:
