iPhone 13 Pro battery draining overnight

I did erase and clear all data and reset all settings, however worst part is phone was without SIM card and apps installed. Even in this case it drains so fast that Apple promised 13 series to work though. Tried everything and every single tip. Still it keeps draining!

may I know if your issue was resolved? I have been complaining continuously to Apple Support for past 2 weeks as I am facing the same issue from day 1 (bought it 3 weeks back) and support keep saying that your device is perfectly fine which I know its not normal at all.

today they offered me to send a replacement but i am just concerned if that will really fix my issue or not.

This is the strangest thing I have ever seen. My 13 Pro Max is not even two months old. Battery Health is at 100%. It was plugged into a wall outlet, as my old iPhone was before this new one, and indicated it was charging all night long. You can also see in the picture that the screen was off. No music playing or anything. Any clue why? There should be no need for optimization of a new phone while it's charging and not actively used.

I’m surprised by this statement. I did not think there was a way to bypass the battery. I thought you always went through the battery whether you were charging or not.

I have exactly the same problem with my iPhone 13. Last night, the battery drained 100% overnight, and when you check the battery usage there's literally nothing listed for any app or process when you tap on each section of the chart.

It was working completely fine until a few days ago. It would sit all night on battery and lose maybe 1% by the time I woke up.

The only thing I can remember doing in the last few days was a WatchOS update. Wondering if that could be the problem.

I just bought my iPhone 13 pro max for battery life but today my second day and I used only 1 hour it was 100% and my battery gone down to 87% I believe that a lot dropped down , plus I just used for Facebook and YouTube.This seller might used then change the package made looks like new? Please I need you thought. How could I understand I haven’t been cheated?

I have an iPhone 13 which I charge overnight on a smart charger.

Last night I put it on charge at 21:00 with 95% charge. I heard the recharge tone to indicate charging had started.

At 07:00 today the charge is just 1%

Battery usage shows a steady drain during those hours.

I am running iOS15.3.1

I am facing a similar issue where the standby and usage nearly take up the same amount of battery it makes no sense at all. Average of 20% to 30% of drain overnight. 13 pro and i have tried everything with little gain.

I would like to share my battery health page as I believe it is the worst case of this phenomenon yet. If my phone is at 100%, it will die overnight if not plugged in. This is totally unacceptable. In the app usage nothing corresponds with 12+ hours of continuous draining.

what do you mean the wifi disconnects when the screen is locked , it doesn’t at all otherwise how would you get notifications when airplane mode is on and using wifi , don’t tell people things when you clearly don’t know what you are talking about. utter nonsense.

Just want to stress again, there is something very wrong here! This is after turning off 5G and background app refresh.

What's wrong? Your battery lasted almost 15 hours.

What's wrong is that the steep, linear draining of the battery over the course of 6 hours is while I'm *not* using the phone. That is completely undependable! The green bars indicate the phone being plugged in, so no, it didn't last 15 hours.

Think of any other battery-powered device you own. Literally any other device, past or present. Would you stand for it losing 100% of its charge in 6-8 hours while you weren't using it *at all*?

I have the same issue, it's a brand new phone, iPhone 13. Purchased on 22nd May 2022. Phone works properly during day time but overnight battery drains, its highly unpredictable. Strange thing is battery drains without the use of any application or phone itself, I just keep the phone on table during I sleep.

On Battery application it shows that no application was running during night (12am-7am) time but battery is drained.

I have moved from Android to iOS, I did't use the app to migrate data from Android.

I have upgraded to latest IOS version as well, still this issue is happening.

And mine is 4G supporting sim, so no 5G available. No option to turn off as well on IOS 15.5

I bought my iphone 13 pro 7 months ago.

From the date of purchase since few days back my iphone’s battery was working perfectly. But suddenly it has started draining too earlier. I have to recharge my phone’s battery twice in 24 hours. I am feeling might be after upgradation to OS 15.5, my battery is behaving like this.

Please advise in this regard.
