Can't send clickable link in iPhone NON-plain-text email
Solved one problem, but it created another.
The solved problem: Recipients of photos I sent via the iPhone Mail app were receiving them as attachments, rather than inline as I preferred (i.e., in the body of the email). I solved this by adding a signature and making sure it had formatting (bold, italics, or underline). This automatically makes every email I send html instead of plain text, with the result that the recipient sees the picture inline instead of as an attachment.
But an undesired result of this change is that when I email a hyperlink to a page, e.g., with the share function, it no longer is clickable to the recipient. They have to copy and paste it in a browser. I've experimented with tricks I thought might return the "clickability", but short of returning to plain text emails -- which I prefer not to do because of the pics situation -- I haven't found a solution.
Any ideas on possible solutions/workarounds? iOs 14.4, SE 2nd Gen.
