Choppy flickering video - iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 15

Wow wow wow!!! I am Very very disappointed of apple this year!!!

I just updated the messenger app with the newest update and it flickering issue was resolved. I guess it was a 3rd party issue💁🏽‍♀️ But my camera flickering is still there and that’s definitely an apple issue that is yet to be fixed.

The 334.1 version of Facebook Messenger fixed the issue with flickering video I had seen previously. That was the 3rd release update since iPhone 13 / iOS 15 was released, so whatever needed fixing wasn’t easy. Also note again that the same previous Messenger code that had issues running on iPhone 13 / iOS 15 ran successfully in earlier iPhones and OSs. So this was NOT a Facebook issue - it was a design flaw in the latest OS that apparently had a workaround that Facebook was able to utilize. App developers should never have to write separate code to target specific devices, there should only be clear OS APIs for utilizing distinct features.

I have reset all settings and messenger videos still flickers. What is happening to my new iPhone 13 Pro?

Have you updated your apps. Because this DOES fix the problem

I reckon it might be something to do with how the phone transfers over your info.
