Apple Maps on iPhone, speaker output

I updated to iOS15 but lost 1 feature; to choose the output channel (bluetooth or speaker).

In the previous iOS version I did it manually (select output in settings in the Map app but this is gone. Now it automatically selects bluetooth when connected. I can only disable bluetooth on the phone settings to get the sound via iPhone speaker. Or is there another way?

Google Maps has the better function: static selection or bluetooth or phone speaker. Would be great if iOS will support this.

Since iOS 15 maps I no longer have the option of hearing voice on turn by turn directions in maps if Bluetooth is enabled. I used to be able to have directions come through phone speaker. Not anymore so I either have to turn off Bluetooth (grrrr so no phone calls) or no voice directions. Apparently the changes made for car play messed that up. Ugh. Anyone know of a fix for this? Might have to use google maps going forward.

Handsfree/Carplay How can I get apple maps on my iphone 7 to work with Handsfree (bluetooth) on my 2009 Lexus car? It worked fine until the last iphone update last week. Now my apple maps only shows an option to choose car play and NOT Handsfree on my phone. I still have a connection with voice speaker for calling on my car, but do not have the ability for speaker on my car for directions on my apple maps. How can I fix it. I refuse to buy a new car just to use car play!! I have used it several times on car rentals, so using it is not the problem. There must be a fix or way to connect to hands free for speaker on map directions. HELP!

Maps audio In iOS 14 while using maps and having my phone plugged in while in the car I could choose what audio output I wanted through maps. Ie the cable or Bluetooth. Now in iOS 15 maps I cannot figure out how to switch audio outputs. Can you tell me how ?
