iPhone 13 keeps disconnecting from car bluetooth

WOOOOHOOOOO, just downloaded the 15.3 update and my bluetooth is finally fixed!!!! No more drops/disconnects!!!

I find it interesting; haven't encountered an Apple employee yet who has ever heard of this issue! Thanks for sharing another potential solution.

I am having the same issue with my Pontiac G5 2009, Connect disconnects and forget trying to make a call.

I believe if you click the “i”next to your car BT under my devices, you should see DEVICE TYPE - choose Car Stereo.

My BMW is a 2012 - no CarPlay. Am I stuck with no bluetooth calling option? I'm amazed that Apple isn't trying to fix this issue.

What I don’t understand is that the iPhone XR worked perfectly and the iPhone 13 pro max doesn’t. What is missing in the 13 pro max?

My iphone 6s worked great too. I think it is the iso software version 15 and the subsequent software upgrades. My 6s couldn't download the newer ios versions.

My watch was/is up to date and I STILL have the car Bluetooth issues.

…and still not a word from Apple on this problem that seems to be pervasive.

15.4 seems to have solved the connection issues with my Audi.

15.4 seems to have sorted my BMW, cross fingers for my wife's Audi.

15.4 seems to of fixed my issue with iphone 13 and BMW as well ! Been 3 days and all good.

How do you change the audio routing from automatic to Bluetooth headset as my 13 pro won’t connect or keeps disconnecting as well?
